Step 01 :

At 04:00 AM, an Egy Smart Travel representative will pick you up from your hotel in Cairo or Giza.
You will travel in a private air-conditioned vehicle to Cairo Domestic Airport for your flight to Luxor.

Arrival in Luxor

Upon arrival at Luxor Domestic Airport, your private Egy Smart Travel Egyptologist tour guide will meet you and accompany you throughout your full-day tour.
You will begin exploring the remarkable monuments located on the East and West Banks of the Nile River.

Step 03 :

Explore Karnak Temple

Begin your sightseeing tour on the East Bank with a visit to the Great Temples of Karnak.
The temple complex was principally dedicated to the god Amun-Ra and the Theban Triad of Amun, Mut, and Khonsu. Karnak is considered one of the largest religious temple complexes in the world.
Many powerful ancient Egyptian kings contributed to its construction and expansion, reflecting the religious and political importance of Thebes, the ancient capital of Egypt.

Step 04 :

Visit the Valley of the Kings

Continue to the West Bank of the Nile and visit the Valley of the Kings, where many of ancient Egypt’s most powerful pharaohs were buried in rock-cut tombs.
Discover how royal burial traditions developed throughout ancient Egyptian history and admire the colorful wall decorations, religious scenes, and hieroglyphic inscriptions inside the included tombs.
The famous tomb of the young King Tutankhamun was discovered almost intact in this valley, and his mummy remains inside the tomb.
Entry to the Tomb of Tutankhamun requires an additional ticket and is not included in the tour price.

Step 05 :

Explore the Temple of Hatshepsut

Visit the magnificent Temple of Hatshepsut at Deir El-Bahari, one of the most distinctive temples on Luxor’s West Bank.
Queen Hatshepsut was one of the most successful female rulers in ancient Egyptian history. As the daughter and wife of kings, she declared herself the ruler of Upper and Lower Egypt.
The temple walls illustrate important events from her reign, including her achievements, religious ceremonies, expeditions, and aspects of her royal life.

Step 06 :

See the Colossi of Memnon

Continue to the Colossi of Memnon, two enormous seated statues representing King Amenhotep III.
The statues once stood at the entrance of his vast mortuary temple and face toward the Nile River and the eastern horizon, where the sun rises.
Your guide will explain their connection to ancient Egyptian beliefs concerning resurrection and the afterlife.
During the West Bank tour, you will also pass by several important archaeological sites, including the Valley of the Nobles and the Ramesseum, the memorial temple of Pharaoh Ramesses II.

Step 07 :

Lunch at a Local Restaurant

Take a break during the tour and enjoy lunch at one of Luxor’s local restaurants.
Lunch is included in the tour price; however, drinks served at the restaurant are not included.

Step 08 :

Transfer to Luxor Airport

After completing your Luxor sightseeing tour, you will be transferred by a private air-conditioned vehicle to Luxor Domestic Airport for your return flight to Cairo.

Step 09 :

Arrival in Cairo and Hotel Drop-Off
